You just need to go to Google profile, then fill all the details Google asks for. As your target is getting backlinks on Google, so add a link into your profile as well. And Google will treate this as a normal backlink. That means your profile will be listed in search results. Also, you should add some more links such as your published profile from other network. This will lead the Spiders to other profiles of yours where you've already added backlinks of your homepage, thus build more trust to Google.
